Opis produktu

This Vieilles Vignes Françaises is a blanc de Noirs and it comes from the mythical lands (« chaudes terres », « Clos St Jacques », « Croix Rouge »), Grand Cru, which were able to survive to the phylloxéra (this is exceptional in France). It is a combination of power and freshness. It corresponds completely to the style of the Bollinger house and to its quality and know-how.

Opis winnicy A unique and exceptional style. Since the seventeenth century, the family Hennequin de Villermont had been living in the Champagne’s vineyard. In 1829, the Viscount de Villermont entered into a partnership with Jacques Joseph Bollinger and Paul Renardin. The house Renardin-Bollinger was born. The name of Paul Renardin had remained on the labels until 1960. In 1837, the House Bollinger acquired a certain reputation; through the purchase of new vineyards, and also enter in many European courts. In 1918, Jacques Bollinger took in charge the estate. He extended, once again, the vineyard and modernized the equipments. In 1932, he married Elizabeth Law de Lauriston Boubers. She will lead the House Bollinger after her husband’s death. Thanks to her, this champagne area is now recognized among the elite. Untill 2008, Ghislain Montgolfier, the great-grandson of the founder, was the president of Bollinger’s champagnes, now Jérome Philipon is leading the house. Bollinger’s champagnes are now spread over 150 hectares of vineyards, on which 70% are used for the supplies. The fermentation is carried out in oak-barrels. It should also be noted that the vines are all dominated by pinot noir. This grape is planted on no less than 100 hectares. The house Bollinger sells various products. The more representative of the house is the famous "Spécial Cuvée”. “La Grande Année” is produced only in exceptional years. The champagne “Vieilles Vignes Françaises” is made in tribute to the great champagnes of the nineteenth century. Champagne’s lovers will find their happiness, with the famous and great, champagne “R & D "(Récemment Dégorgée). The Champagne Bollinger is James Bond’s champagne, among all.
