| Opis winnicy | Château Monbousquet: The Château Monbousquet’s history goes back to the sixteenth century. Many owners have succeeded. But, with the arrival of Gérard Perse (also owners of the château Pavie, Pavie-Decesse, Bellevue Mondotte, and 3 castles in the appellation of “Côtes-de- Castillon”), a significant phase of renovation begins: chais , vinification, new oenologist,…. This grand cru classé is now one of the most complex and the most exotic of the appellation. It also offers a long preserving potential. The 32 hectares of the area are devoted to the production of Château Monbousquet, and to a second wine, l’Angélique de Monbousquet. One hectare of the vineyards is also dedicated to the production of a white wine: Monbousquet blanc. |
