| Opis winnicy | Château Troplong-Mondot: The history of Château Troplong-Mondot begins at the eighteenth century. The abbot Raymond de Sèze was, at that time, the owner of the château Mondot, where he had built the Château. In 1850, Raymond Troplong took over the estate and the 33 hectares field. His nephew gave his name to the château of Troplong-Mondot. Since the beginning of the century and until today, the château belongs to the Vallettas. An exceptional ground and powerful and complex wines have allowed this château to belong to the elite of the Saint-Emilion’s appellation. The estate also produces a second wine, Mondot, coming from the second-quality growth of wine. |
